How Does He Do It?

It just doesn’t make sense. In order to be invisible, the light rays that would have to bounce off his skin would need to instead pass right through him or be redirected around him, right? So, then, how can he see where he’s going all the time? We see in the movie that his eyeballs are invisible also, which means that no light rays reach the receptors in his eyes. Therefore, he should be totally blind, as if he were in a pitch-black room with no light source whatsoever. So, during the course of The Invisible Man movie, how does he manage to move so stealthily and sure-footedly around? Questions abound, for sure.
